ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Mr. Thomas Fischer « Teacher Connection / Documents / Calendar

Dear Parents and Students,

In my class you will see numerous fish tanks and terrariums.  These tanks are taken cared of and supported by the students.  We have a large bottle where students can donate to cover the cost of running the tanks.  I will then buy the necessary food ( fish food, crickets, meal worms) and equipment throughout the year to support the tanks. Our saltwater aquarium is our touch tank.  If any of you plan on a fishing trip, I would love it if you could bring in any type of sea animal....starfish, crabs, anything that we can put into the tank.

We are in need of a 60 gal. aquarium for our Oscar.  Last April the aquarium sprung a leak and it will now be used as an terrarium.  Again, we are accepting all donations to replace this tank.  The Oscar tank is the highlight of the class.  We watch the marine food chain up close and personal.  More on that later. ;-)

See you all on Tuesday.

Sincerely,

Thomas Fischer
