Welcome to the wonderful world of Physical Education (PE). We get physical in our daily activities, which includes fitness and fun!! Your child will have PE every day for 30 minutes. All I ask is that your child participates fully, and gives their best effort. Sometimes the things we do are difficult, but never impossible. My goal is to set forth challenges that will help your child grow and learn more about becoming physically fit.
The month of May in Physical Education is going to be a busy fun filled month. We will start the month out with our Annual Arts in the Park. The students will be practicing a dance in class that they will be performing for this special event. The first grade students will have EOY testing for special area classes so there will be a modified schedule for all of the special area classes during the testing schedule. This all happens the first two weeks of May. The second half of May, we will have a week of Scooter activities and a week of Bowling. Let’s not forget our Reading Celebration event which is FIELD DAY held on Friday, May 18th. We will be busy and active right down to our last day!! We wish everyone a safe and fun Summer Break!!
I look forward to meeting and spending time with your child each and every day. If you have any questions, or concerns please don’t hesitate to call me at 352-259-7700.
