The Villages Early Childhood Center ("ECC") locations are owned and operated by The Villages Early Childhood Center, Inc. ("TVECC"), a Florida not-for-profit company. The ECC centers are not operated by The Villages Charter School, Inc. (TVCS), however, in an effort to provide continuity and seamless integration for students who advance to The Villages® Charter School provides certain administrative services under contract with TVECC.
Welcome to First Grade! I am so excited for a brand new school year. I hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing summer vacation. I look forward to meeting everyone at orientation on August 6th between 11-1 or 4-6 in room 405. You may bring your school supplies with you if you want to. I wanted to tell you a little about myself before we meet. My name is Mrs. Skinner and this is my 18th year teaching and my 16th year teaching first grade at The Villages Charter School. I was born and raised in Belleview. I currently live in Belleview with my husband and our three children. My daughter Rylan and my step son Gavin are both 11 and are in 6th grade. My youngest daughter Kaylen is 8 and is in 3rd grade. I graduated from The University of South Florida with a double major in Elementary Education and Mass Communications. Teaching has always been my passion and I am absolutely delighted to be your child's teacher this year.
