The Villages High School (VHS) Buffalo Athletic Boosters’ mission is to support VHS students in their athletic and academic endeavors. Our highly active community of Boosters includes parents, alumni, residents of The Villages, and a wide variety of local businesses and community members who rally around our athletes. They offer emotional and financial support, and are a strong presence at athletic events as they cheer for our Buffalo.
You’ll find our Boosters engaged with the VHS athletic community, working hard to encourage student athletes both on and off the field as they strive to pursue their dreams.
The VHS Buffalo Athletic Boosters meet weekly throughout the school year on Thursdays at 1:00 pm in the VHS Cafeteria.
We invite you to attend a weekly meeting on Thursdays at 1:00pm in the VHS Cafeteria and learn more about how you can support our student athletes.
This is a great opportunity to hear from some of our coaches, administration, and even student athletes themselves. Each meeting is unique, giving a glimpse into the dynamic athletic program here at VHS. The group also discusses game highlights, noteworthy accomplishments, upcoming events, and more.
Each Spring at the end of the boys basketball season, our Boosters host a spaghetti dinner auction with opportunities to bid on sports jerseys, memorabilia, and a variety of other valuables with all proceeds going directly to our scholarship program.
For more information on how to support the Buffalo Athletic Boosters or attend one of our fundraising events, please contact our club president, Gary Nellans.
Go Buffalo!
The Buffalo Athletic Boosters proudly support our student athletes throughout the year and in their post-secondary aspirations. Student athletes are awarded scholarships by the VHS Athletic Boosters through the Buffalo Scholarship Foundation.
Throughout each season, our Boosters work to raise funds for our athletes. From weekly 50/50 raffles during games to Winner’s Circle commitments with donations for each VHS Varsity sport win, student athletes and our scholarship funds are well-supported.
Students may contact their guidance counselor to learn more and apply to our scholarship opportunities.
Success begins here.
