MIDDLE SCHOOL

Middle School Field Trips

School field trips are designed to excite and engage our students with “hands-on learning" opportunities. These hands-on activities will create the right balance of fun and education to develop critical thinking skills, bring classroom theory to reality, and make learning enjoyable. Our trips vary from The Orlando Science Center, Clearwater Marine Aquarium (new this year) and Busch Gardens Physics Day.  Field trips are a great way to cement difficult information.

Students must maintain quality academic performance and meet behavioral guidelines to be eligible to participate in these classroom extensions. If a student’s grades are questionable, it would not be reasonable to allow him/her to miss school to attend a trip. Also remember – students are ambassadors of The Villages Charter School and ultimately of The Villages. Their behavior is a direct reflection on their classmates, teachers, and our school. Our high standards do not stop at school doors but follow anytime they are representing us.
